Dr. Noah William Reid, Jr. is pastor of the Langley Avenue Church of God, 6159 S. Langley Avenue in Chicago, Illinois. He has served as Chairman of the General Assembly of the Church of God in Illinois, Vice Chairman of the Executive Council of the National Association of the Church of God, and is currently Director of the Central Midwest Region of the National Association of the Church of God.

Dr. Carolyn Waddy Reid is co-pastor. She serves on the Program Committee of the General Assembly of the Church of God in Illinois, board member of the Chicago Renewal Society, and presently co-chairs with her husband the Chicagoland Area Ministers Fellowship of the Church of God. Together the Reids bring over seventy years of Ministerial Leadership and Service to the Christian Church and wider community.

This pastoral team has the continual goals of sharing the Good News of the Gospel, leading in Community Management and Community Resource Development with particular focus on communities that work together in the urban context.

Pastor and Co-Pastor Reid were born in New Jersey and each of their parents, Rev. Noah W. Reid, Sr., Rev. Viola M. Reid, Rev. Burton C. Cathie and Rev. Shirley B. Cathie, MTS, Ed.D, were called to pastoral service in the Church of God Reformation Movement. They were nurtured in the Christian faith by their parents. The Reids have a well-rounded education, both formal and informal, and have been recognized for their services with honorary Doctorates in Divinity and numerous other awards, both religious and secular.
